Not to put too much pressure on you but we need a business manager more brilliant than the diamonds surrounding us in our gloriously creative Hatton Garden office.

“So tell me about this business manager job?”, you ask.

Well, we’re an award-winning creative social agency, delivering everything our clients need to give them a more human voice on their social platforms. From strategy to tone of voice, social adverts and paid support to video, from design to social broadcasting and all the way back again.

It’s the client part where you come in. We’re growing fast and the Business team needs support in regular pitch work, ongoing client development and general wowing of people who are and will be partners on our adventure.

You’ll have several years’ experience with good exposure to commerciality in creative. But if you’re more senior and think this sounds good, drop us a line. We’d like to hear.

Your role would be broad and varied so it’d be good if you came with pre-rolled up sleeves, greased elbows and the flexibility of a limbo dancer. Oh, and stuff happens fast round these parts. We’re all pretty good at keeping a smile on even when it’s hectic. Be good if you can do that too.

Specifically you’ll:

  • Support the Business Director in new business development

    • Setting up pitches/meetings

    • Coming along and contributing to pitches/meetings

    • Collating pitch assets and creating presentations

  • Marshall the administration of onboarding new business

    • Have a strategic eye to understand what a brief is asking for and pull together the appropriate resources internally to meet that.

    • Structure the deals so they are ready to hand over to the account and creative teams for activation.

  • Support the Business Director in process development

    • Managing a regular target list

    • Running ‘spec’ asset work and gathering it to pitch to speculative clients

    • Scouting conferences and assessing value in attending

    • Undertaking creation of ‘statements of work’ and other process documentation

  • Offer strategic support to the account management team. Specifically, where required, a commercial eye to break down budgets across a campaign and create a campaign structure. Also, help the account team to develop revenue from existing accounts.

  • Be organised and open to adopting new processes to get things done.

  • Use social media at least a fair bit. Come on, it’s a social creative agency.
